Google releases Gears for SafariAccording to their Mac blog, Google has released a version of Google Gears for Safari.

This means that you can now access all the Gears-enabled sites (such as Zoho office, WordPress, the new YouTube uploader and Google Docs offline) in Safari.

Gears allows you to:

Desktop Let web applications interact naturally with your desktop
Database Store data locally in a fully-searchable database
WorkerPool Run JavaScript in the background to improve performance
