Safari 3.2 secures against phishing attacks

Safari 3.2 secures against phishing attacksApple today released Safari 3.2 for Mac OS 10.4, 10.5, Windows XP and Vista. The update is recommended for all Safari users and includes protection from phishing Web sites and better identification of online businesses. The 40MB update also includes Apple’s latest security updates detailed in tech note HT1222.

Tech note HT3298 details the security content of Safari 3.2 including fixes for vulnerabilities in zlib, libxslt library, CoreGraphics, libTIFF, ImageIO, embedded ICC profiles, autocomplete form data, JavaScript array indices, WebCore, and WebKit’s plug-in interface.

The update is available via Software Update and directly from the Safari product page.
