588 Kleiner Perkins iFund developers accidentally leaked to WebA MySQL file containing contact information, founder bios, business plans, demos and financial information for 588 applicants to Kleiner Perkins’s iFund – a $100 million fund to invest in startups building applications for the iPhone – was accidentally posted to the Web and indexed by Google.

Kleiner Perkins’ former hosting provider, Meteora Technologies Group, is blaming an employee for the accidental disclosure according its President Lowell Fletcher. TechCrunch notes that Meteora “no longer works with Kleiner Perkins.”

An employee from Fruux found the MySQL file during a Google search. Fruux is a lightweight and convenient system preference pane, that “syncs your Address Book, Calendars, Tasks and Bookmarks between different Macs,” according to their site.
