http://www.good2work.com/images/4112/levinson.jpgGenetech Chairman Arthur D. Levinson today resigned from the Google Board of Directors. Levinson’s departure comes on heels of Google Chairman and CEO Eric Schmidt’s resignation from the Apple board on 03 August 2009.

Like Schmidt, Levinson used to serve on the boards of both Apple and Google. Levinson didn’t give a reason for his resignation, but it’s presumed to because of the increasing competition between Google and Apple – whose ties are being investigated by the FTC.
