iSkin SOHO sleeve for MacBook Pro
Sometimes you don't want to carry around a large bag for your MacBook or MBP. Especially as we get closer to summer there's something to be said for traveling light.
The SOHO (US$60-65) from iSkin is a form-fitting portfolio type case made specifically for the MacBook or MacBook Pro that comes in black with several trim/interior color options, including pink, grey, red, blue and orange (pictured). Although designed for Apple notebooks, it also fits similarly sized PC notebooks.
The colored zipper, interior and stitching contrast nicely against the black (simulated) leather finish and give this case a sharp look. The plush lining is padded to protect your MacBook from damage and the sweet zipper pull is the icing on the cake.
The clam-shell design of the SOHO allows you to use the MacBook while it's in the case although it may get warmer when used in-case for extended periods of time. You can carry the SOHO on its own (although you won't have room for accessories like an AC adapter) or inside another bag for extra protection.
Also pictured above is the ProTouch keyboard cover (US$25) from iSkin which is a great way to keep gunk out of your keyboard and key marks off your screen. It takes a little getting used to typing on it, but once you do it feels completely natural. There's no cut out for the CAPS lock LED so I frequently enable it by accident which can be annoying but otherwise it's a great collector for all the crumbs that would otherwise end up in my machine.
