Apple retail notebook sales up 94 percent
According to market research firm NPD U.S. PC unit growth for April grew 14 percent overall, including a 19 percent increase in retail sales and a 30 percent increase in notebook computer sales.
AppleInsider reports that Apple’s retail Mac sales grew 62 percent year-over-year for the month of April, including a 94 percent spike in notebook sales in the wake of strong MacBook and MacBook Pro sales and increased distribution.
