Safari for iPhone capabilities published, then removed
University of Washington’s Emerging Technology group published notes from Apple’s Developing Web Sites for iPhone session from WWDC last week and promptly got spanked by Apple. The notes are now removed.
The blog entry provided new information about iPhone’s capabilities, including design considerations, JavaScript limitations and confirmation that there is no Flash and no Java support. MacRumors still has it posted.
Earlier in the week we learned that iPhone is running Safari version 419.3 (which is the “old” Safari — not the 3.0 beta one), and has a reported resolution of 320 x 396 for the Web viewing area.
