Google is taking this year’s I/O conference, the second for the company, into a slightly different direction this year. The sessions this year will be more in-depth and technical - just as last year’s attendees requested. And there will be a greater number of sessions targeted at an audience that was a bit of a surprise last year - developers working in the enterprise, running software apps for their own companies. Large companies.

Google has opened registration for the conference, which will be held May 27-28 at Moscone Center. Early registration discounts are available and those who register before May 1 get one of the hard copy Google Chrome comic books.

Google’s Chrome browser and Android mobile operating system are the latest additions to the developer community and sessions will be built around them. In its blog post announcing the show, the company said it will also provide opportunities for developers to demo apps that use the latest web and mobile technologies.
