Move over "Friends" and "Seinfeld." Here comes Java, the series.
Ask the average Tom, Dick, or Harriett what Java is and chances are they’ll probably tell you it’s either a nickname for coffee or an Indonesian island. Ask the same Tom, Dick, or Harriett what Windows is, and they’ll tell you it’s what runs their computers in their offices and at home. Chances are though, that Sun’s Java technology is present in some of the technologies they use as well. Now, in an effort to give its technologies a much needed boost in brand recognition, Sun is assembling a 13-episode TV series about Java, the pilot of which is already finished. But if you’re in the US, don’t pick up that remote just yet. The series is designed primarily for European audiences.
