Chip sales tank amid industry's 'steepest corrections in its history'
The Semiconductor Industry Association released its February tally for chip sales and it isn’t pretty.
February sales were $14.2 billion, down 30.4 percent from a year ago. Chip sales were off 7.6 percent from January.
The good news? In a statement, SIA president George Scalise noted that “the rate of decline has moderated from the final quarter of 2008.”
