SAP acquires telecom billing company Highdeal
SAP said Wednesday that it has acquired Highdeal, a French company that provides real-time billing software for telecom companies.
In a statement, SAP said Highdeal, which is a privately-held spin-off from France Telecom, will allow it to deliver pricing and charging processes in real-time. This process is dubbed “consume-to-cash.”
Highdeal has more than 200 implementations under its belt across the globe. SAP noted the Highdeal has customers in the utility, media, financial services and transportation markets. The software giant it likely to build Highdeal’s technology into its existing applications.
The deal is expected to close in June. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
