Dell: Selling a new backbone for SMBs [video]

A week or so ago, I sat down with some Dell executives to talk about upgrades to the company’s server line. During that discussion, we focused on small- to medium-sized businesses. As they spoke, talking about base models that could be customized to meet the customer’s specific needs, it hit me that this sounded an awful lot like Dell’s PC strategy from years ago - give customers a good base model and let them customize it to make it better.
