HP hires former Wal-Mart CIO Linda Dillman
HP said Wednesday that it has hired former Wal-Mart CIO Linda Dillman as senior vice president of global information technology.
In a statement, HP said that Dillman will report to Randy Mott, CIO of HP. Dillman will be in charge of the information technology teams behind the company’s outsourcing services unit. She will also be in charge of an IT group that supports global functions such as finance, real estate and human resources.
Dillman brings a big name to HP’s IT management team. As CIO of Wal-Mart, Dillman led the charge into RFID and other cutting edge projects. She joined Wal-Mart in 1991 and has integrated acquisitions, consolidated apps and created global processes to make the retailer more efficient.
