Google has rolled out a connector for Salesforce.com data as it adds features to its enterprise Google Search Appliance.

In a blog post
, Google said it has added a connector so internal Salesforce.com data can be searched via its appliance. Connectors are used to integrate data from different file types and content systems such as SharePoint and Documentum.

The other main feature Google touted was a side-by-side comparison tool. the side-by-side tool allows employees to test and rate search queries. Enterprises can then see which search policies get the best results. The side-by-side comparisons can be found in Google’s Enterprise Labs.
