Sun’s Tim Bray has publicly invited me into a bet with him.  Tim is betting me that by next year, I will no longer think that the NetBeans IDE should be throwing in the towel vs. the Eclipse IDE.  Earlier today, I blogged about how Eclipse is on a roll.  Although I didn’t actually say that Neteans *should* throw in the towel (I only asked if it should), I’m still accepting the bet.  So, Tim, as the blogosphere is my witness, you’re on.  Now that Tim has mentioned that his "tastes in food and wine are fairly plebian," the only question is what will I be eating? Crow? Or a decent fish dish.
