Small is Beautiful: Building a Successful Company with Less Capital
At a Churchill Club event on September 14, a gang of venture capitalists participated in a panel, “Small is Beautiful: Building a Successful Company with Less Capital.” It’s part of the new culture of startups, which are taking far less capital investment than the first round of Web startups. The panelists discuss what it takes to build a successful company with less capital, designing capital-efficient business models and managing through the rough times on a budget.
The speakers included:
Joyce Chung, General Partner, Cardinal Venture Capital
John Dean, Managing Director, Startup Capital Ventures
Ho Nam, Managing Director, Altos Ventures
Ian Patrick Sobieski, Managing Director, Band of Angels
The moderator was Bill Reichert, Managing Director at Garage Technology Ventures. You can download the hour and thirty minute podcast or listen via the embedded player.
