This week on the Dan & David Show, David and I are both in the same place (San Francisco) at the same time for a change. We hook up in the ZDNet broadcast studio in our nice suits, the professional look, for a video version of the show, thanks to our chief cinematographer Charlie Wagner, chief director and editor Kelly Hendricks, chief podcast engineer Jason Howell and the boss, executive producer Marianne Wilman. We will also provide our usual audio (podcast) version of the show.

The main topic this week was the dueling press conferences by Intel and AMD, with AMD's chief marketer calling Intel a company that doesn't "respect the rules of fair and open competition." We also discuss Adobe's new Apollo platform and my visit to the Tech Policy Summit in San Jose, where Silicon Valley's tech community was mostly a no show.
