Chief Yahoo Jerry Yang replaces Terry Semel as CEO
Yahoo CEO Terry Semel has been under fire lately for under-performance and being overpaid. Today gave the CEO reins to Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang, and assumed the role of nonexecutive Chairman. Sue Decker, who heads Yahoo’s advertiser group was named president of the company.
