Dan & David Show: Tech earnings; Finding SP1; Mashup Camp
On this week’s Dan & David Show I fill in for Dan Farber, who is on vacation. Here’s the rundown:
The tech earnings barrage: Google earnings get panned (despite making a lot of dough); Yahoo says it will have a strategy in 100 days and AMD and Intel continue to duke it out. Price wars hurt.
Meanwhile, some people track Big Foot. Others track the beta of Vista Service Pack 1. Mary Jo Foley reported that Microsoft was going to launch a private beta of Vista SP1 right about now. And then things got weird with misinformation. Who knows what’s going on with SP1 now. The soap opera continues.
And finally, David recaps Mashup Camp with the best mashups and their prospects. Angelwish.org and Chime.TV get shout outs. David then wraps up with a little riff on iPhone batteries and rentals.
