SCO is apparently tired of the drubbing it’s taking on the primarily pro-open source and anti-SCO Groklaw Web siteInfoWorld is reporting that the company will launch its own alternative to Groklaw that SCO CEO Darl McBride says will tell his side of the story.  Groklaw founder Pamela Jones analyzes legal documents and court events with the same passion and vigor that tabloid television pursues the dirty laundry of celebrities.  Groklaw’s biggest target, by far, is the collection of legal proceedings involving SCO and its claims that Linux infringes on its intellectual property. The result has fueled widespread resentment of SCO for interfering with the open source software community.  In a ZDNet Webcast interview earlier this year, McBride questioned Jones’ objectivity by saying that Groklaw was accepting handouts from his largest enemy — IBM.  In a letter to the editor, Jones flatly denied any such connection.
