We talk to him about how he views the Oracle/PeopleSoft deal; SAP’s NetWeaver and componentized applications; the blurring of the boundary between application software and infrastructure middleware; grid computing; outsourcing; and SAP’s plans for developing a directory with thousands of enterprise Web services.
