Yahoo said in an amendment to its annual report that CEO Jerry Yang was paid $1 for 2007. The company added the amendment since it won’t be able to file its proxy statement 120 days after its fiscal year.

Yang’s $1 salary is in keeping with other technology executives that own a big chunk of their companies. For instance, Apple CEO Steve Jobs also has a salary of $1.

Here’s a look at the abbreviated executive compensation table:

Among the key takeaways:

  • Sue Decker, president of Yahoo was paid a $1.1 million bonus in 2007 and had a total compensation tally of $14.8 million.
  • CFO Blake Jorgensen made $1.6 million in total compensation.
  • Former CTO Farzad Nazem, who left the company June 8, 2007, raked in the most among Yahoo executives in 2007 with a total compensation of $22.3 million. In fact, it’s nice to be a former Yahoo executive. Dan Rosensweig, former operating chief at Yahoo, made $12.2 million in 2007. Rosensweig’s last day was March 31, 2007.
