Now, HP denies rumors of executive shuffle

Discounting a report that HP CEO Carly Fiorina’s authority over the whole company was about to be diluted by an executive shuffle, a News.com story by Matt Hines quotes HP spokesperson Robert Sherbin as saying:

"Boards discuss a wide range of topics consistent with their fiduciary
responsibilities, and any speculation about these discussions is just
that–pure speculation…. While the board did discuss
structural changes at its recent meeting, there are no other senior
changes due in the near future"

That said, the company is clearly having its share of difficulties and, while things may be status quo for now, THINKStrategies’ principal Jeff Kaplan was probably still on the mark when he said that a shuffle of some sort will have to take place in order to put HP on a solid, corrected course.
