Adobe said Tuesday that it will launch an update to its Creative Suite on Sept. 23.

The screen grab says it all.

As Mike Ricciuti notes Adobe hasn’t said much about CS4 aside from a few conference call mentions here and there. Adobe previewed a few applications selectively in May.

Analysts have been upbeat about the Creative Suite refresh and expect it to drive double digit revenue growth for fiscal 2009 for Adobe. In a research note on Tuesday, Citi analyst Brent Thill said that value added resellers are expecting a rebound in the fourth quarter due to CS4. “We still believe CS4 could be announced in Sep/Oct and ship in Oct/Nov, in time for the mid-November MAX conference,” he said.
