Trustworthy Computing? You're not serious Microsoft, are you?

Microsoft is undoubtedly working very hard on hardening its technology.  Based on the gazillions of dollars the company has invested in its Trustworthy Computing Initiative alone, we should be taking the company’s effort seriously.  Add to that the rocket science that’s coming as a result of the investment, and how can we conclude otherwise?  Easy.  Just take note of the way it’s overlooking some simple fundamentals, as I posited in a recent column.
