NameVoyager: Really cool information visualization

It sounds hokey but Baby Name Wizard’s NameVoyager is an great example of interactive, visual information navigation–turning data into useful knowledge. Give it a try…it’s an impressive bit of Java code and presentation graphics …even Edward Tufte would be impressed. Thanks to David Weinberger for the pointer.
