Dead Finger Tech: Gordon won't let me have his HTC 8525 Windows Mobile smartphone

If you’ve seen any of my other Dead Finger Technology interviews, then you know how this works. We find some unsuspecting person who looks like s/he is really into their technology. Then, we turn on the lights and cameras, and then we ask them whether the technology is their Dead Finger Technology (DFT). Your DFT is the technology that other people can’t take from you unless they pry it from your dead fingers. That’s how much you’re addicted to it. That’s how much you love it. What’s your DFT? Everyone has one.

After I was done interviewing the folks at Stampede Technologies about their application acceleration solutions (video coming), I noticed the CEO was using one of the new HTC smartphones: the 8525. He started raving about it as though he had a PC connected to his hip at all times. So, true to form, we turned on the lights and the cameras and we rolled tape for another DFT interview. Hear (and see) why Gordon loves his HTC 8525 so much that, if you want to take it from him, you’ll need to pry it from his dead fingers. Watch the video above.
