It’s only been a week since the first version came out, but already Google has released an updated version of its Java and Eclipse-based Google Web Toolkit (GWT). Bret Taylor, GWT product manager, announced that version 1.0.21 is now available for download. This release fixes a number of problems with IE7 support, internationalization, and TabPanels, including:

Bret also announced the launching of a new public GWT issue tracking web site so developers can track the progress of bugs and feature requests, and get workarounds. Unfortunately you can’t currently post your own bugs there, or search for bugs, but instead are asked to report problems and request enhancements on the GWT developer forum. Google developers will manually reproduce common bugs and feature requests on the tracking system. I imagine that in the weeks ahead they will get tired of doing that and implement a real bug tracking system.
