I got a call from one of the producers of The Bachelor looking for a new crop. Did I know any bachelors?
I said I did. They said they should be tall, the women are asking for at least 6 foot tall, they should be charming, handsome, and have an “all American look.”

Initially, I proposed Mike Arrington, the publisher of the popular Web 2.0 web site Techcrunch, he fulfills at least one of criteria, he’s tall.

I posted about this on Silicon Valley Watcher and I got several suggestions for bachelors and lots of women offering bachelor filtering services. But I also got some complaints about ABC’s out-dated request for an “all American look.”

In Silicon Valley we have an “all global look” and there are plenty of good looks around. I said it was a shame that Always Be Conservative was so last century. [Or maybe it is Always Be Caucasian.]
