New MSN Search design, next Google

As you may or may not have seen, the front page for MSN Search was put under the knife and got a brand new look.  This new look is cleaner and much easier to look at since they got rid of that ugly blue area which contained their search box.

This has me wondering how long it will be before Google officially launches their new look that people are more frequently experiencing — I’m guessing very soon.  Google’s new look contains a dropdown on their main page for the "type" of search, and corresponding links in the search engine result pages (SERP’s) down the left hand side.

Do you think the new design of MSN’s front page will attract more users?  What do you think of Google’s new look?
