Google Base for sellers

Google has announced they have selected a few sellers to try accepting payment for their Google Base items.  The same payment system makes selling videos on Google Video, licenses for Google Earth, and items in the Google Store possible.  Once available to all sellers, it could potentially be a thorn in eBay’s side, but it will take some time to create a very competitive product.

If you are interested in knowing when this service becomes more widely available, you can put your name on the list.  I am unable to find any examples of sellers using this new service, but like Barry Schwartz says from SEW watch, they will turn up.
