GWT - The future of web programming

Wow.  This amazing toolkit created by Google could revolutionize web development as some people in the GWT developer forum seem to already realize.  This product lets programmers create and debug applications in Java — then compile them into an AJAX application consisting of HTML and Javascript (no Java).  For those who aren’t programmers, this is a really cool idea and at first glance it seems as though they have pulled it off.

The official GWT blog can be found here, demos of the toolkit can be seen here, and the developer forum is here.  Good job Google, this product looks terrific.
