Message from Google

I logged into my personalized homepage tonight to find that Google has started using it to advertise stuff.  The message I saw only pointed to the gadget directory (and was gone as fast as it appeared), but I wonder if they have plans to show real ads here in the future? 

Messages on my personalized homepage have the potential to be very annoying, however showing something relevant once in a while might actually be welcome.  What do you think?  Would you put up with the odd advertisement on your personalized homepage if they were appropriately targeted?

Google Reader isn't iGoogle.
They are two different things entirely.

Yes they both bring you RSS feeds, but in vastly different manners.

iGoogle is more like My Yahoo! while Google Reader is more like Bloglines.
