Google Base finally adds rich text
In March I had a hunch, and in April I published a few javascript hacks revealing a feature that was launched today — a rich text editor for Google Base. A toolbar was added to the product listing page that lets users describe their items with text formatting, links and images. This new feature uses "Trogdor" — the engine that powers Google Pages.

Due to this addition, the service now feels slightly more like eBay in that you can format your listing with HTML. Even if you aren’t familiar with it, you can modify the appearance of a listing with minimal effort using the tools provided.
