Google Page Creator removes new feature

On September 21st, Google introduced a new feature on Google Pages that let you "create a site with a different address" — but it has recently been removed.

As you can see in these screen shots, the link used to appear just below the "Page Manager" link.

Even the help page still has information about the missing feature.

2. How do I create a new site?

Select the "Create a site with a different address" link that appears near the top of the Page Manager. 

I don't know the reason behind its removal, but it sure didn't stick around very long.  Maybe their experiment failed — or are they just making room for another?
