Find a bug? Don't bother reporting it

When users experience problems with Blogger, the beta alternative is usually recommended by Google.  But what happens if you find a bug in the new Blogger beta?  Well, if you ask Nathaniel Bragdon, reporting it doesn't produce results.

When he found an annoying bug that prevented him from using Google Docs to post articles about money (unless the dollar amount starts with a 1 that is), he didn't hesitate to contact them about the problem.  Unfortunately, his efforts produced no results and his problem remained unfixed with no response from Google.  He then tried reporting the bug several more times over a couple months with the same results.

If I ran a software development company, the people who take time to submit bugs would be treated very well — they volunteer their time to make applications better.
