Real-time quotes for Google soon?

On the official Google blog, an interesting article about real-time quotes was posted last night.  It appears that Google has been working with the SEC, NYSE and NetCoalition to bring free real-time stock information for users of Google Finance.

Most financial websites offer this feature as long as you sign up for a service and/or accept a legal agreement.  Instead of going down that route, Google is suggesting that users will enjoy free quotes without any strings attached.

It's not clear to me whether this is a Google only agreement, or if every website that displays financial data will have access to the same information.  "Google" is not mentioned anywhere in the documents they referred to in their article, so I would imagine the changes to be made would be global in nature rather than simply creating an exemption for one specific company.
