Free real-time NASDAQ quotes
Google announces, on their official blog, that NASDAQ is working on a similar deal to the one announced a few weeks ago regarding the NYSE. With these two indexes working to provide free real-time stock quotes, Google Finance and other Google products using stock quote information are sure to become more valuable if the SEC approves.
Today we're equally pleased that NASDAQ has a similar filing which would include both real-time last sale prices and volume. We think these proposals are steps in the right direction, and encourage the SEC to give them a big thumbs up so we can start giving you the data you want, when you need it.
