Try another Google prototype

There is a brand new prototype that appears to build on the last one we talked about a few days ago.  The new one looks similar, but it has an added sidebar that makes it easier to view results for other types of Google searches.

The last time a prototype was found, my instructions for getting it to work were difficult to understand — so this time I will attempt to make it easier.

  1. Copy this text:
    javascript:function setcookie(){ document.cookie = "PREF=ID=9d04e374b01fd77c:TM=1177187296:LM=1178229339:DV=AA: GM=1:IG=3:S=Iiqx5SsQA0p79zvy; path=/; domain=.google.com"; } setcookie();
  2. Go to http://www.google.com/ncr
  3. Paste the text you copied in step 1 in the address bar
  4. Remove any spaces in the text your pasted, then push your enter key
  5. Search for something

There you go, you will now have the brand new prototype.  To go back to the year 2007, simply delete your cookies.
