The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Joltid , the P2P video company owned by Skype’s founders, Janus Friis and Niklas Zennstrom, filed a copyright suit against Skype. Joltid owns a peer-to-peer technology that is used in Skype’s software. According to the article, the suit seeks an injunction against Skype and statutory damages for copyright infringements, a move that could complicate the eBay’s $2 billion sale of Skype.
