Survey: After Sidekick Failure Would You Buy Cloud Services?

Microsoft confirmed this morning that it will begin recovering data for Sidekick users. The move caps off a week of turmoil for cloud computing advocates, which began with Microsoft’s Danger subsidiary announcing the loss of Sidekick data. You can read more about it here and the ensuing law suits here. Now its your turn to tell MIcrosoft what you think about the outage….

Gmail--very good if you use it right.
I have been using GMail since 2003 as my EMail provider, but I have always connected to GMail using POP/SMTP, not IMAP, and no permanent storage on the GMail server. No worries; I lost no messages when the GMail server(s) crashed.... (Read the rest)
