IT healthcare for $485 mln in venture financing in 2005

Venture-backed healthcare IT companies finally staged a comeback in 2005. There were 54 deals totaling $485 mln in 2005 versus 50 deals that brought in $313 mln in 2004, after a steady decline in investments since 2000, VentureOne reported.
