Broadband subscriber growth in Q2 2005
Broadband subscriber growth (Cable Broadband + DSL) from to Infonetics Research:
- Asia Pacific: grew from 36.7 mln in Q2 2004 to 57.3 mln in Q2 2005 (56% increase)
- Europe: grew from 28.5 mln in Q2 2004 to 46.7 mln in Q2 2005 (64% increase)
- North America: grew from 33.1 mln in Q2 2004 to 43.1 mln in Q2 2005 (30% increase)
- DSL continues to dominate in Asia and Europe, while cable broadband leads in North America by about 5 mln subscribers
