48.2% of homes sold in 2005 were bought with no money down

According to SMR Research, more than 70% of all homebuyers borrowed over 80% of the purchase price in 2004. 33% of homebuyers took adjustable rate or interest-only mortgages. In 2005 48.2% bought homes with no money down.
