Consumer credit up 2.2% in Jan 2006
The Federal Reserve reported that consumer credit grew at an annual rate of 2.2% in January 2006, up from a 1.9% rate of increase in December 2005. It was the best showing since consumer credit grew at a 3.1% pace in September 2005.
