CircuitCity.com traffic up 60% in September 2005

9 of the top 10 computer and consumer electronics retail web sites experienced double-digit increases in visits in September 2005, according to Nielsen/NetRatings. CircuitCity.com experienced the largest increase, with visits increasing 60% to 6.9 mln from 4.3 mln in September 2004. OSTG experienced the second largest increase, with visits increasing 52% to 4.1 mln from 2.7 mln in September 2004; followed by TigerDirect.com, up 45% to 3.2 mln from 2.2 mln; CDW, up 40% to 2.1 mln from 1.5 mln; CompUSA.com, up 29% to 2.7 mln from 2.1 mln; eBay Electronics, up 20% to 9.5 mln from 7.9 mln; BestBuy.com, up 16% to 9.3 mln from 8 mln; Sony Electronics, up 13% to 3.4 mln from 3 mln; and Sony, up 10% to 2.7 mln from 2.5 mln.
