32% of Americans cannot describe VOIP, 71% have not heard of RSS

43% of adults in the United States somewhat or strongly agree that they are knowledgeable about the latest tech buzzwords and their meanings. 32% indicated they are not sure how best to describe VoIP, 71% have never heard of RSS and 46% told Harris Interactive they aren’t clear on the definition of tagging. 77% of women say they are not knowledgeable about the latest tech buzzwords, compared with 45% of men. Although 79% of US adults are aware of blogs, approximately only 17% typically read them.
