In 2003 Better Business Bureau received 1710 complaints on rebate fulfillment
Nationwide, the Better Business Bureau received 1,710 complaints about rebates in 2003, up from 974 in 2002 and 964 in 2001. Since 1998, the FTC has policed about a dozen instances of companies not redeeming rebates as quickly as promised.
