5% of UK IT specialists satisfied with their jobs

FC Now, the Fast Company magazine blog, links to the City & Guilds Happiness Index survey in UK, which tracks job satisfaction of country’s work force. 18% of blue-collar workers are extremely happy with their jobs, compared to 10% of white-collar workers. 81% of blue-collar Brits say they have absolutely no regrets about their career path. 40% of hairdressers, 24% of clergy, 23% of cooks, 22% of beauticians and 20% of plumbers, mechanics and builders say they’re happy with their jobs. Only 5% of IT specialists, lawyers and secretaries, 4% of estate agents, 3% of civil servants and 2% of architects can say the same.
