86 companies went IPO in 2007, raised $10.3 bln
31 venture-backed companies raised over $3 bln in IPOs in Q4 2007, the highest quarterly volume in 7 years, according to the National Venture Capital Association. For 2007 totals, a total of 86 companies went public for $10.3 bln, compared to 57 companies for $5.1 bln in 2006.
